The Tower

At what point did you stop ascending? At what point did you stop being your most authentic self? Can you pinpoint the moment when you sold your soul? What or who was it that you allowed to cheapen you? Did you forget who you once knew yourself to be? Stagnation became a norm and you watched yourself from a 3rd person vantage point, wasting your talents, your time, your potential for something that you never truly believed in to begin with. You allowed life to pull you left, right, up, down to where you don’t even know who you are anymore. It is a sad state you are in. You try to drown out your disappointments using various vices or distractions, or some temporary pleasures that allow you to forget what you’ve become. You’re a shell of your former greatness. You’re a flat line on a graph. Your heart and passion; they are also flat-lined. You’re dead. Maybe not physically dead, but you’re not living. You’re on autopilot, or better yet, someone else is driving you while you sit in the back seat of your own life.

If you’re ever looked at tarot cards and are familiar with the major arcana, there is one card that describes the only logical next step for you. It is ‘The Tower’. YOU must be the lightning that strikes the tower to destroy the weak foundation that holds up the pillars of broken promises you have made to yourself in the past few years. This structure that you have created is not what you once envisioned. It must be pulverized, demolished to the point of unrecognizability. Not only does ‘The Tower’ represent destruction, but it also represents liberation. By taking that necessary step to end this reality, you have freed yourself from it. It is like burning your ships to take the island. You must not allow yourself even the slightest ability to return to that previous reality. It should be gone from existence. It will hurt. You may be scared to make such a drastic change. You will have uncertainty about the future effects of such events. However, you must be steadfast. You must understand at a deep level that your current life must be uprooted. Your life up to this point is a sunk cost. There is no looking back. You must remember that your material life as a mortal is finite. You only have so much time to live, particularly to live at the peak years of your existence. You must not take your life for granted. You are worth so much. You MUST save your life. There IS no time for delay. You are STILL capable of producing a legendary life, to create a great life work or even a great life’s influence. Do not be pulled by the familiar. Become God in the flesh. It is not too late.
So now you have made the decision to destroy The Tower. It could be divorce. It could be quitting your job. It could be moving to a new place. It could be releasing your dependence on others and finally standing on your own two feet regardless of the difficulty. It could be deciding you will no longer be mediocre, physically, mentally, spiritually.
But how does one go about doing these things without allowing yourself to be pulled back in? It takes courage and integrity, coupled with high-esteem and the confidence that your will is unshakable. Now that may sound great in theory, but in practice other parties will use methods of manipulation on you, because they have a vested interest in keeping you exactly where you are. These are the individuals that are driving you. You must understand that this is what you are up against, and it will not be a simple battle. They will not let you go without a fight. In many ways, they feel they own you. This could be a spouse, a partner, a family member, your job, maybe even a friend. It could also be an addiction that owns you. It could be drinking, porn, social media, etc. In addition, you will most definitely feel other-worldly pain, regret, and guilt when enacting your decision. This is normal. This is part of the process of death. It’s okay to allow yourself to cry, to hurt, to go to the darkest corners of the shadows of your soul. But do not waver. You will arise from the dead like Lazarus. You will be like the phoenix rising from the ashes. When you value yourself and you have committed yourself to this new path, you must be resolute. There is no turning back. You must convince yourself and know deep within your soul that the pain of remaining in your current life path will be greater than the temporary pain of uprooting it and starting anew.
Here's a task. Write down a vision of what you want your life to be. Write down the qualities that you want to possess, whether you currently have them or not. Write down all your impediments, internal and external, that are preventing you from being this higher self that you want to become. Now, this is not a dream. This is manifestation. The next step beyond thinking about it, is taking actionable steps towards it. Destroy your impediments and enact a daily ritual for your betterments. Make this vision your consistent integrity point. If anyone or anything does not align with this vision, then give it no energy or repel it. Every moment that puts your vision over other’s wants or over your own bad habits or addictions, is a battle that is won. Each battle that you win will make you stronger and cling you tighter to your vision. This will also increase your self-esteem. The joy of making your vision manifest will start to override the pain of letting your former life go. This change could happen in a day. It could happen over the course of weeks or months. But do not drag it out. Rip off the band-aid. Time is precious. Remember, you have power beyond your imagination. You have God in you. You are limitless. Now go out and live.
GO OUT AND LIVE YOUR LIFE!!
